Lou Marzano
As Chief Hardware Officer, Lou Marzano is responsible for delivering innovative and uniquely differentiated products to market. Since he joined Matterport in 2018, he has led hardware R&D and manufacturing, including the design and delivery of Pro3 while navigating the complex challenges to global supply chains and logistics during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lou has 30 years of experience leading R&D teams to develop and deliver products across a wide range of technologies and industries. Prior to Matterport, Lou was Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Bentek Corporation, leading Bentek’s manufacturing plants and supply chain operations to eliminate material shortages, reduce labor costs, and improve on-time delivery. Earlier in his career, Lou was Director of Engineering at Hewlett-Packard where he led cross-functional engineering and program management for HP’s consumer laptops product line.
Lou has a BSEE in Digital Systems from Santa Clara University and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business.
